A couple weeks ago I came up with an idea for a fun game and posted it on my beer blog By the Pint. The idea is pretty simple, I remove the identifying text from beer bottles, glasses, labels, caps, etc and then you guess the name of the brewery. It proved to be a bit easier than it sounds so I threw in some pretty obscure beers. Click here or the image below to try it for yourself.

This weekend we made pitas and a loaf of Italian bread from scratch. To go with the pita bread we cooked up some turkey burgers with all of the usual gyro fixing.

Dinner last night was a fried slice of eggplant, lettuce and tomato on a toasted bun with a little Parmesan and some Thousand Island dressing.

Here is a picture of the Bourbon glazed pork chops we had for dinner this weekend. Served with a side of potatoes au gratin. The potatoes were really good with the left over glaze.
