A Day in Munich, Germany

Our first day in Germany was spent exploring Munich. I'd been here briefly in 2006 so I had an idea of where to go and what we should see. Munich was much more fun this time around since there was no set itinerary, time tables or anything like that. We got to see the city at our own pace and it worked out pretty well. We did so much in the first day that I've decided to split everything into a couple of posts, below is the first set of pictures from Munich.

Leaving for Germany Tomorrow Morning

In about twenty four hours I'll be boarding a flight at the airport in Kansas City. Roughly fifteen hours later I'll be touching down in Munich. The forecast in Munich looks like there might be some rain Saturday morning but other than that it'll be sunny and in the upper 60s. Not too bad. No real concrete plans have been made other than hotel reservations and plane tickets, of course. Here's a rough outline:
Friday: Travel
Satuday: Munich
Sunday: Munich
Monday: Bamberg
Tuesday: Bamberg
Wednesday: Bamberg/Vierzehnheiligen
Thursday: Würzburg
Friday: Würzburg
Satuday: Return flight

Stuffalo Crust Pizza Topped With Waffle Fries, Sausage, Olives, Pickles and More

Today we made a pizza with a crust stuffed with Buffalo chicken pieces. It was topped with spaghetti sauce, waffle fries, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, sausage, diced onions, tomatoes, olives and dill pickles.

Weston, Missouri

We decided to drive up to Weston today and stop by the Pirtle Winery and the Weston Brewing Company (O'Malley's).

Pizza Margherita

Lunch today was a Pizza Margherita. It's a pretty simple pizza with tomatoes, olive oil, mozzarella and basil. We added a few extra ingredients.
