Pretzel Breaded Sixth Glass Pork Chops
About a month ago we made some pretty awesome pork chops and I took a few pictures. So here they are, pictures of the pretzel breaded Sixth Glass pork chops. You can find the full recipe here.

The final product: Pretzel encrusted pork chops, pale ale sauerkraut and boiled potatoes.

The sauerkraut and potatoes spent about six hours in the crock pot with a bottle of Boulevard Pale Ale.

The pork chops were marinated in about a half a bottle of Sixth Glass Quadrupel Ale, one of the Smokestack Series beers. There were also caramelized onions, butter and garlic. The whole thing was thrown in the fridge for about four hours to allow the beer to soak into the pork chops.

I forgot to get bread crumbs at the store so we decided to coat the pork chops in pulverized pretzels.

The pretzels were pretty coarse but stuck to the pork chops quite well while cooking.

The pretzels were moist and soft, not dry and crunch as I had expected. The pork chops we delicious. They had a malty, caramel flavor from the beer and went great with the sauerkraut and boiled potatoes.
