Our last day in Colorado was spent visiting the Royal Gorge near Cañon City and driving through Phantom Canyon on the way back to Colorado Springs. Here are some of the pictures I took along the way.

This weekend we went to a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium. This year is the 40th anniversary of the team and tonight there was a fireworks display and presentation commemorating the anniversary. Here are some of our pictures from the game:

After spending a day in Saint Louis we decided to get out of town and visit a winery in nearby Augusta, Missouri. Here are a few pictures from our stop at the Mount Pleasant Winery in Augusta.

After lunch at Schlafly's Tap Room, we made our way to the Saint Louis Zoo. The zoo is located in Forrest Park, near the site of the 1904 World's Fair.
