After spending a day in Saint Louis we decided to get out of town and visit a winery in nearby Augusta, Missouri. Here are a few pictures from our stop at the Mount Pleasant Winery in Augusta.

After lunch at Schlafly's Tap Room, we made our way to the Saint Louis Zoo. The zoo is located in Forrest Park, near the site of the 1904 World's Fair.

This is a little bit out of order but I thought it was worth going back to. About a month and a half ago I wrote a guest blog for the food blog Macheesmo. The spot was a write up about homemade mustard recipes I'd been playing around with.
